Steve & Mandy got married last Saturday January 26th at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception. 

It was a beautiful ceremony with the sun fully illuminating all the stain glass.  I want to thank Holly Davidson from Simple Elegance.  She was fantastic to work with, and really helped make everything go smooth for my photography and the wedding day itself.

The reception was nearby at Berg.  I had never been to this facility before, but was thoroughly impressed.  The skylights in the ceiling created highlights and shadows throughout the crowd of smiles and laughter.

The cake cutting was quite entertaining.  One of many reception highlights.

Everyone was having a great time at the reception.  The dj Jeff Vaughn and his assistant did a great job.  These candid shots took place during the 80′s song Mr. Roboto.

Just wanted to say thanks for everyone that stopped by our both at KC Weddings and Club 1000.  I especially wanted to say thanks to Jeff from Image Video for taking some time to help me setup for both shows.  Jeff your a great friend.  thanks!

The sun glistened off the snow that still covered most of the ground on December 29th.  Jeanie & Daniel had their ceremony in the Northland off Barry Road.

The flowergirl was a little shy before the ceremony, but was one of the mainstays later that evening on the dance floor.

The wedding party went with the Bride & Groom for a stop at Zona Rosa before heading to the wedding reception.

The reception was a little north of the KCI airport off 1-29.

We will be showing at the Club 1000 open house next Tuesday evening January 15th.  If you are attending please stop by and say “hello”.

I was talking with a bride today about her upcoming wedding at Club 1000.  She asked me if we have ever photographed at Club 1000 before.  I answered that we had and absolutely love photographing there.  I especially love the rooftop shots!

 Jon and his staff really do a great job down there.  Every event has always been smooth.  The warm loft feel makes for a quaint ceremony or a comfortable dinner reception.

Each floor has plenty of room for dancing.  The hard wood floors provide great acoustics.  The atmosphere is very condusive for a party!

I especially love the vibe of downtown with all the revitalization going on.  There is allot of energy down there.  Here are some of my favorite we have taken in and around Club 1000.  Enjoy!

I know we have been in business for a while when I remember the first KC Star show we did in 1996!  It was held at Bartle Hall back then.
