Our photographers Nita Chyree and Shonna McMillan photographed the wedding of Kam & Angelo on October 20th. The morning ceremony was held at the Pilgrim’s Chapel. Roger Coleman is one of the nicest, and most genuine people I have ever met in the wedding business.

In the afternoon, the couple ventured down to the Plaza and stopped by the Cheesecake Factory.

The reception was held at the Arrowhead Club. I personally, haven’t photographed a wedding reception at Arrowhead club in a few years. It is a really nice location; the field is a great backdrop for any reception!

What a warm October day we had for this event. Nearly 80 degrees for a high, but a nice breeze kept it comfortable. The reception was at Indian Hill Country Club. The coordinator Matt really did a great job, and I especially appreciate everything he did to help me out!

A Floral Affair did all the flowers and center pieces. I cannot remember if I had worked with Linda and Jennifer before? They were great.
Here is their email address for any brides wanting to contact them: afloralaffair@everstkc.net

The nice breeze kept into the evening, and the weather felt incredible outside. The dance floor had an incredible ambiance as the band played in the background.

The father of the bride had a running joke with a long time friend. I didn’t know all the history involved, but it was a funny moment in the day.

I was very happy with how these albums came together. The first is from Brandy & Adam at the Hawthorne House. These wedding has the infamous horse images everyone has seen in our advertising (and hopefully a real wedding feature).

The 2nd album design is Greg & Michelle. They were married in May at Lone Summit Ranch. The antique car was really a nice touch!

Our business definetly is focused on portrait work (weddings in particular), but I do really enjoy fine art photography and commercial work. We not only contract for commercial events, but love doing facade shots like the one featured here.
We submitted this photo of the new Sprint Center and College Basketball Hall of Fame to the Kansas City Convention & Visitors Association. They are in the process of updating their stock photography.

Contact us if you are interested in having a shot of your building/facility photographed.

Well it rained pretty good Sunday afternoon October 7th. But we were fortunate to have the weather clear off by late afternoon. The clouds did linger, so there was some definite humidity which is typically rare in October.
Powell Gardens provides great texture and foliage for a wedding. Even with very low lighting conditions I was still able to pull off terrific shots. I’ll confess, it did really push my photography skills, but I relished the challenge.
I was helped out alot by the wedding coordinator, and Andrea Grist did a great job on the flowers as always!

About 6:30pm we got a little ambient light on the horizon. This was all I needed to capture these sunset shots.

The ceremony was very beautiful. An 8pm ceremony in October really set the mood for the look of candlelight.

This was one of the later Sunday events I have had. It was nice to see everyone sticking around and enjoying the reception. I especially enjoyed the karaoke sing along by the wedding party to Bon Jovi. That guy could really sing!

I had alot of fun today photographing around Kansas City with Tom & Heather.
We started out at the Country Club Plaza, where they were getting ready at the Hampton Inn. We arranged their first meeting on the bridge over Brush Creek.

We then headed north to the Liberty Memorial. We got some great skyline shots, and this fun wedding party shot with my fisheye.
Their wedding was down at the Hobbs building in the westbottoms. I had never photographed at this facility before, but I loved all the texture and different backgrounds the area provided.

Their ceremony was inside a courtyard just off the building. The guitarist was just incredible! I really enjoyed hearing the Zepplin song. I was so busy photographing I didn’t actually have time to figure out which song he was playing.

The ceremony went through without a hitch. It was a pretty warm day for October, but a nice breeze came through off the building during their nuptials.

Feasts of Fancy did a great job with the catering. The food and service was excellent.
Heather really did an amazing job with all the details, including the table decorations and the flowers.
