Okay, so many of you have figured out we started a news blog 2 weeks ago. My ultimate goal is to upload a few of my favorite photos and write a story about each wedding within 24 hours. I apologize to the couples within the past few weeks that we have not written a story about. We are trying hard to start doing this for every client.
Another day, another stunning wedding at the Hawthorne House. Obviously this is our favorite place to photograph as you can tell by the 20 real weddings online. Irene, Della, Adonna, Mary Beth, Steven, and Brad all do a great job (just to name some of my favorites up there). Here is Hawthorne House’s website.

Rosemary Clyde of Final Touch Studios is the best. I have my favorite florists and she is at the top of my list. This is the 3rd September wedding we have worked together and every one has been sensational. Thanks Rosemary!

This Ringbearer was very cute. I have two sons Will (2) and Max (1). They both give me allot of practice photographing kids.

I was ecstatic with this facade shot of HHouse!

I took 6 different time exposures ranging from 1/8 of a second to 4 seconds. I then stitched them together for one seamless panoramic.
Okay it is 3:45am Sunday morning and all the images are finally downloaded. Can you tell I love my job? I’m going to bed now. Mike

Congratulations to one of Kansas City’s newest wedding couples! Their wedding nuptials took place last Saturday September 15th. Thanks to our photographers John Rieger and Richard Bustamante for a great job covering the event.

Family members are always nice to photograph. Here is a member of the Bride’s family, Baxter.

Their wedding reception was at Starker’s Reserve at the Country Club Plaza.

Pech Limosouine has a great selection of limos and Bentleys in the Kansas City area.

Well it is not often that everything, weather wise, cooperates so well two days in a row. But on Sunday, Mike and Nita photographed Martin & Christine’s wedding to another stunning sunset. It was held at the Arboretum in Overland Park. This location has been difficult in the past to photograph at, because of the political bureaucracy with the city, but everything worked great on Sunday.

Rosemary did an amazing job on the flowers. You can find her website here:

We talked a little while about her brother Mike going to Maine and visiting the lighthouses. My wife Jill and I went to Maine around 7 years ago an it was breathtaking. I could only hope to live near Acadia National Park someday! Here is a shot I took on that trip.

This wedding has to be a canidate for a real wedding feature in the Knot or KC Weddings. Holy cow we got some terrific images. Here is one more incredible panoramic image!

Congratulations to Michael and Amy Antes. I had a great evening with them last Saturday evening at Powell Gardens. This was the nicest event I have ever photographed at Powell.

Great weather, fantastic lighting, and the nicest group of people collectively I have worked with in a long time. Here are a few of my favorite shots:

I really enjoyed working with florist Drue Carr. We met at the Knot shingdig last winter, but this was my first oppurtunity to work with her. Great job Drue!
